The food, the staff, the view... 10/10. This is my first time visiting Milford Haven & I generally have a lot of anxiety around food being Autistic & coeliac but the staff at Freckles were absolute perfection. They assured me food would be prepared safely & separately in a clean environment & it was some of the best gluten free food I've ever had! It will definitely be my go to place here & already can't wait to be back! Even took a cheeky gf cake & hot chocolate for the road & they were delicious.
Amazing cafe! Found it by accident whilst on holiday and so glad we did! Such a friendly place and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend the "lumpy bumpy" and Bonoffee pancake stack! Just wished we lived closer to visit more often! Added bonus they are dog friendly too
Lovely cafe, I visit often as the food is consistently good there. The service staff are always friendly and helpful. Great location on the marina too which makes for a nice view whilst sipping your coffee.
Found an absolutely fantastic place for breakfast lunch etc here at Milford, we were looking for a dog friendly place in Neyland unfortunately nothing around, googled dog friendly and this gem popped up Freckless in Milford, after only a 15min journey, great parking it's right on the harbour overlooking the boats. The food and service here were on point, I opted for the full breakfast and it was stunning, not a drop of grease and cooked to perfection, the sauces came in a 4x the normal size pouch which tasted lovely and not having to squeeze out 4 to get a decent serving. My better half opted for the vegetarian option and again she was very pleased as it tasted great. For me this dog friendly cafe is a gem and well worth the travel from Pembroke or Neyland. The cafe is spotless and staff very welcoming .. I'll defo be back.
I loved everything about this place! I took my boyfriend here for breakfast as a gift for his 16th birthday, safe to say he adored every bit of it. Both of us already plan to go again as the food was great and so was the people. Everyone was so lovely and their smiles were contagious, it’s a definite 5 star rating. The prices were so affordable which is shocking given how good the food was. We both loved our small date and you can definitely expect to see us again! Thank you.
What a great recent addition to Milford Marina! My family and our dog received a very warm welcome when we arrived at this beautifully decorated coffee shop. The food was amazing and it's clear that the owners select quality local produce. The best coffee shop lunch we've had in a long time. Freckles, you have raised the bar!
We had a little walk around Milford Marina one afternoon recently and it was a lovely autumnal day. I said to my husband “ooh, I really fancy a nice bowl of soup and some crusty bread!” My husband agreed too. We weren’t massively hungry but needed something to get us through until dinnertime. Every place we popped into didn’t have soup on their menu until we stumbled on Freckles Cafe! I’d been here once before with a friend and we’d had a lovely cheese ploughman’s platter which had been so big we had to have doggy bags to go home with. You know it’s a great place when you want to take your leftovers home with you. We received a very warm welcome when we arrived and were seated in a nice cosy corner overlooking the marina. I was so pleased when I spied on their specials board that they had Red Pepper Soup and Welsh Cawl. This satisfied the vegetarian in me and the carnivore in my husband. Our order was taken by a lovely friendly gentleman and he left us to enjoy the surroundings. The cafe is very vibrant and cheery and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves eating and chatting. It’s clearly a popular place because it was busy, so we were lucky to get a seat. I looked around at what people were eating and the food looked great, simple but wholesome and wonderfully sized portions. Some of the staff were having their lunch, which I thought was so nice to see them eating in the same place as their customers and enjoying the food they’d prepared and served. Our soup came out very quickly and looked and smelled wonderful. Mine came with a cheese toasty and my husband’s Cawl with a thick chunk of fresh white bloomer and butter. The soups were gorgeous, so tasty, so filling and it was clear to us that we had come to the best place to eat home cooked, wholesome quality food with locally sourced ingredients. This really is a wonderful cafe to meet friends, catchup, relax and enjoy a lovely atmosphere with fabulous tasting food and happy friendly staff. I didn’t mention the cakes, although we were too full to sample any, but their cakes looked knockout. Go check Freckles out!
